Deforestation heats the climate, and what few trees remain dry out and become susceptible to severe fires. We care about the people affected by wildfires, but their houses are burned to the ground, with no famillies to turn to. Nowhere else to go because we have torn the rest of it from the roots.

Not enough attention is drawn to their homes beacuse they are not our kin, and not our problem. But with the earth drying up, it is a matter of time before our homes are scorched and we will have nowhere else to go.
